Born and raised in Mildura, Ken Innes has a strong connection to his local community and a lifelong commitment to supporting young people. He brings nearly 17 years of experience working with young people and carers in the out-of-home care sector, along with 16 years coordinating and participating in youth mentoring programs across Kokoda, Kakadu, and the Flinders Ranges, supporting young people facing difficulties in their lives.

Ken is passionate about creating positive opportunities for young people in out-of-home care. He has joined the Collaborative Governance Group to strengthen community voice and work collaboratively toward improved outcomes for the local people.

Ken has been actively involved in football and cricket and spent many years coaching junior teams. He now works as an Education Support Officer in the wellbeing team at Mildura Specialist School.
