Hands Up Mallee (HUM) is committed to driving meaningful, place-based systems change. Through reflective practices, we track progress, learn from experience, and adapt our approach. By reviewing what works, addressing challenges, and planning next steps, we strengthen our collaboration and ways of working.

This strategic plan reflects our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and improving outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Released in April 2025, the mid-term evaluation confirms that HUM’s collaborative, place-based approach is driving real systems change. Independent reviewers identified early signs of improvement in health, youth services, and government engagement, alongside stronger partnerships and better resource sharing. These findings show promising shifts are underway and community confidence is growing. The learnings and insights form the Mid-Term Evaluation experience has had a strong influence on the development of the Hands Up Mallee Strategic Plan 2025-2029.
